Anita Barone

Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who was seeking Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends to pursue a role which required more time. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995-96) Then she appeared in The War at Home between 2005 to 2007. Barone was also a part of Daddio the sitcom which was aired from 2000. Barone was also seen in Desperate housewives, Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately Housewives. Barone received her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2005 in 2004 for her performance on the feature film One Last Ride. Barone's recurring role in Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up began in 2010, about three years following The War at Home finished its running. She was the character Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone in two episodes.
